How to MAKE AN INEXPENSIVE CHRISTMAS TABLE ARRANGEMENT

                                                          EASY ARRANGEMENT
                                                    PINE,FLOWERS AND A CANDLE

OLD METAL LANTERN, FLORAL OASIS, SMALL DISH

MATERIALS:
Floral oasis
Pine boughs
Holly
Boxwood
Cedar
Candle
ribbon
Flowers of choice

STEP ONE:
Soak the oasis block in cool water,
Cut fresh holly, pine and cedar to size for the arrangement. Our evergreen bunches are cut from the yard, these were planted years ago.
If you don't have access to free greens they may be purchased at most any floral shop,at a reasonable price.

STEP TWO:
Strip the ends of the branches , this will make it easier to push in to the oasis and hold in place better.

STEP THREE:
Start at the bottom of the oasis and place some greens  covering the mechanics of the design and shaping the base.Keep filling the the center of the oasis with greens until the entire oasis is not able to be seen.

STEP FOUR:
Add a candle in the center and a few flowers for color.
These are spider mums purchased from King Mums as plugs in the early spring and planted in our greenhouse.
November is our time for blooming in up state New York.

A seasonal bow and a place on the table is all it needs now.
The cost is kept at a minimal by growing what you need . Even if you can just provide the greens and purchase a few red and white carnations you will be able to create a great center piece at a low cost, keep it watered and it will last for weeks.
